WHAT IS ROYAL SUPREME A2 (JASO)?
SUPREME HD may be the most powerful product in our line, when compared to competitor products on the market. SUPREME HD’s primary function is to offer far superior protection to diesel engines calling for CI-4 or CI-4 Plus oils. With an industry high, 15 plus, TBN and a calcium-based detergent package that far exceeds others in the industry, SUPREME HD will have engines running cleaner for longer than any other oil options available. In addition to cleanliness and TBN retention, SUPREME HD’s ability to retain its viscosity through excellent thermal stability and offer exceptional wear protection through excellent film strength technology, making SUPREME HD the oil to run in engines calling for CI-4/CI-4 plus oils.
SUPERIOR ADDITIVES
SUPREME HD uses superior additives in higher concentration than conventional oils, diesel engine designs expose engine oils to elevated amounts of contamination. Special compounds are needed to neutralize acids, plus suspend and disperse large amounts of soot. SUPREME HD keeps soot and particulate matter suspended (in the form of smaller particles) to prevent wear to liners, rings and the valve train. Some diesel engine designs place higher temperatures on the engine oil, which coupled with exhaust gases, could act as a catalyst for oxidation of the oil. An improperly functioning exhaust gas recirculation system can cause much more rapid deterioration of an engine oil. SUPREME HD uses a beefed up oxidation inhibitor to counteract oxidation or sludging. Routine oil analysis & SUPREME HD helps to allow longer drain intervals.
REDUCES CONSUMPTION
A great way to reduce cost is to reduce oil consumption and SUPREME HD does this extremely well. While results will vary, typically by using SUPREME HD, oil make up between drain intervals is greatly reduced, while drain intervals are dramatically extended. This combination, in actual field usage, shows oil consumption cut by as much as 60%. Naturally, individual results will vary with engine and operating conditions.
